1.1 The moderators will manage the session. Moderators are requested to ensure that all sessions start and end punctually as scheduled.
1.2 For moderators of Rooms 1 and 2, there will be 1 or 2 panelists for questions or comments directed to the speakers.
1.3 For the moderators of Room 3, the poster session will take place in front of each poster.
2.1 Presentation Instruction
●Presentations should be on Microsoft PowerPoint. Please prepare presentation data in English.
●Please prepare your presentation data in 16:9 format (recommended).
●The 2nd slide should be the COI disclosure in your presentation.
●Please save your data on a USB memory device or deliver it to the Preview Room.
2.2 Presentation Format.
●If other data (E.g., pictures, animations, graphs) is linked to the presentation, please store all related data in the same folder.
●The "Use Presenter View" option in PowerPoint is not available.
2.3 Presentation file submission at the Preview Room
●Please submit your data to the Preview Room and check whether all the data is appropriately shown.
●Even if you use your PC, you must check your presentation data in the Preview Room
●The Preview Room will be open during the following hours. Speakers must present their data at least 30 minutes before the session starts.
Preview Room: 3rd floor (please refer to the floor plan on the homepage)
●If you use videos in your presentation data, please notify the Preview Room staff when previewing your data.
2.4 Presentation time
●For the invited speakers, there are 60-minute and 90-minute sessions. We have invited three speakers for the 60-minute sessions and four speakers for the 90-minute sessions. In general, the presentation time will be 15 minutes for the 60-minute sessions and 20 minutes for the 90-minute sessions. There will be a Q&A session with both the panelists and the audience after the presentations. However, the moderators of each session may adjust the time allotted for the presentations and the Q & A.
●For the moderated poster speakers, there will be 3 minutes of presentation time and 2 minutes for Q&A, totaling 5 minutes per individual presentation.
All panelists should be seated in the front row of the room, designated as the panel seating area.
All presenters at the 40th Korea-Japan Urological Congress are requested to disclose any "conflicts of interest" (COI).
When a presenter finds that they meet or exceed the criteria for a COI situation shown below as items 1 to 9, it is their duty to disclose their COI for a COI situation in the second slide (after the title slide).
Target period: For three years from the presentation date
1.Employment/Leadership position/ Advisory role: one million yen or more annually.
2.A stockholder who receives a one-year stock profit exceeding one million yen and/or who holds 5% or more of all shares.
3.Patent royalties/licensing fees: one million yen or more annually for each patent
4.Honoraria (e.g. lecture fees): 500 thousand yen or more annually in total
5.Manuscript fees for writing a pamphlet, etc. for a private enterprise or a profit-making organization: 500 thousand yen or more annually in total
6.Research funding: one million yen or more annually from each enterprise/organization
7.Subsidies or Donations: one million yen or more annually in total
8.Endowed departments by commercial entities
9.Others (e.g. trips, travel, or gifts, which are not related to research): 50 thousand yen or more annually from each enterprise/organization
